Custom Moulding Process

Along with our on-site Kiln Drying Process, Peacock Lumber has become well known for Custom Mouldings.

While the process can be labour-intensive at times, the finished product is always a thing of beauty.

Here’s how it works:

• First, we make a knife to suit the specific order
• We then source the appropriate material (species & size)
• We set up our six-head moulder machine to the proper specifications (6 motors & 6 cutter heads w/power feed)
• Once the machine is set up, the raw wood goes in one end and comes out the other end as moulding, cut to order.
